Bundle Monster Lotus Mat Review

Happy Monday lovelies! Hope you have a great week ahead. I have started my week telling myself that I need to put brakes to my shopping, I seem to be going over budget with such great offers/sales going on every other day. I must say I got some really good deals during the Thanksgiving/Christmas sales. One such deal was on my recent Bundle Monster order; I bought few BM plates and their new Lotus Mat. In today's post I would be reviewing their Lotus Mat.

I was desperate to buy a silicone mat ever since the nail art market launched it; especially because I have been staining my table with polish, acrylic paint, polish remover marks, glitter, etc. These mats protect your nail station area and are acetone/polish remover safe.

The Bundle Monster Lotus Mat is a white rectangular silicone mat which measures 15.7 in. (L) x 11.75 in.(W). The mat has 5 Oval and 5 square finger templates on top left and right sides. Towards the center and a little below these templates we have lotus shaped template with white and black background. This segment is really helpful especially when you would like to check combination with black or check how stamping polishes look over black base. Then towards the bottom right, there is a measuring scale of 8 cm.

The ruler given on this mat can be used to measure various things like tapes, images on stamping plates, stickers, etc. Now I don't need to run around in search of a ruler to measure the image size of plates from different brands.

The finger templates given are pretty big in size; in the picture below you can see how my nail looks next to it. These portions can be used for swatching, making decals - stamping decals, dry marble, etc.

One must apply a generous coat of clear polish before stamping on these templates else the stamp won't transfer completely. You can add blobs of polish in the open area and use it for filling decals. Both polish/decals dry pretty fast and can be peeled using a tool or by bending the finger template area a bit & the decal lifts easily.

The only issue I see with the mat(& possibly all the silicone mats as they are made of the same material) is it attracts lot of dust, particles & these tend to stick to the mat. This dirt can be cleaned using a lint roller or tape. Over all this mat is great and I highly recommend it.
