BB Creams - Garnier and Ponds Comparison & Overview

Hello friends! How are you are doing? I am doing great and have been on a shopping spreeJ. I will share details of my hauls soon.

In this era of BB creams, how could I refrain myself from trying one (well one…no wait…two…ummm..no no three it is). I had ordered Maybelline BB stick from Nykaa.com early last week and was waiting for it to arrive.  But when I went to Dmart the other day to get groceries I picked up Garnier and Ponds BB creams.

So today’s post is about BB creams. I am not going into specifics like what BB creams are, etc.I have tried both the BB creams and they haven’t disappointed me. I have compared both Garnier and Ponds BB creams and given a crisp review. Enjoy reading.

Here are the pics of BB creams and a lil overview.

Although Garnier BB cream's tube looks almost double the size of Ponds BB cream it has a smaller opening as compared to Ponds BB cream. I didn't realise this initially and ended up squeezing out more product from Ponds tube so gotta be lil careful.

Both Garnier and Ponds BB cream are good. I have dry skin and used moisturizer before applying the BB creams. I did not have any blending issues with both. Ponds BB cream is a little thicker as compared to Garnier BB so it takes a lil time to blend. Folks with oily skin type will need to add compact to avoid oily T zone.

Both the creams give a decent coverage however they might not give a great coverage for folks with severe acne and pimples. Since I don’t have too many pimples/acne I was happy with the results. All in all both the products are great and worth giving a shot. Only problem is they are available in only one shade. These two BB creams go well with fair to medium skin tones, might be an issue for dark skin tone.
