White and Gold Pattern Stamping

Hello All! Today's nail art is for one the AIS challenges on Facebook - White and Gold Stamping. I used Sally Hansen White On as the base and using Maybelline Bold Gold I stamped pattern from my new Moyou Fashionista Plate 11. I added red rhinestones to add some glamour. Although I felt they were a bit over sized for my nails :)

Glam and Glitzy nail art

The next theme for #IndianFestivity challenge is Glam and Glitzy nails and for 52 Week Nail Challenge is Matte or Texture. I came up with color block design using Maybelline Colorshow glittermania Dazzling Diva, Champagne and Nicole by OPI Nise a Treat. These are the polishes I just used once and were lying in my stash. I am glad I used them. Here is the finished look.

Karva Chauth Nail art

Hi Friends! Today is Karva Chauth - the day when married women fast from sunrise till the moon sets for long life and safety of husband. Although I do not keep this fast,(I usually fast during Teej every year) I love this tradition. Women apply Henna, wear traditional clothes and do shringar.

Starting this week, I would be participating in Indian festivity Nail challenge, so keep visiting my blog :)

Dusshera Celebrations and Nail art

Dusshera is one of the biggest Hindu festivals. It marks victory of good over evil. Happy Belated Dusshera to you all!

Being a part of Kutchi family, navratri is of great importance. For all the nine days we have a lamp lit in Garbha(decorated pot), do Gayatri Path and Mataji Ki puja. On all the nine days there are garbha/danidya programs :) Here are some of the pics, straight from the home.

31 Day Challenge - Metallic Nails

One of the themes for 31 Day Challenge is Metallic Nails. For this design, I used Colorbar Metallics Starry Night as base and OPI Honey Ryder for accents. Then using Maybelline Colorshow BoldGold, I stamped BM319 image over the black base. Added a layer of Seche Vite to complete the design.

GRAY, WHITE, SILVER and GOLD LEOPARD PRINT NAILS

Hey buddies, last week I painted my nails with GRAY, WHITE, SILVER and GOLD leopard print and received lot of compliments and queries on how I did it. I love animal prints and leopard prints are my favorite. They are very simple and easy to make. It hardly takes any time to do this print.

SARAN WRAP NAILS (PLASTIC BAG NAILS)

Hello, today I am going to talk about Saran Wrap Nails. This is a simple nail art created using plastic bag (Saran wrap). For someone new to the world of nail art, these are easy to create and look very stylish.

Here are some of the pictures of my Saran Wrap Nails. I used Wet n Wild Megalast – Color Haze of Love and Wet n Wild Fergie – Gold Album. You can use colors of your choice. Make sure to use two contrasting colors to highlight the look.
