Maybelline Colorshow Go Graffiti Nailpolish - Blueberry Bombshell review

Hello All! Maybelline India recently launched Rebel Rouge Collection. In this collection they launched 9 Maybelline Colorshow Go Graffiti nail polishes priced at Rs.145.  There are few glitter toppers and jellies in this range. Glitter toppers didn't really excite me as this was not something new or something I haven't seen before in the market. For jellies, I can say this is the first time I have seen jelly glitter polishes launched in India. This caught my attention and I purchased Blueberry Bombshell shade. I am sucker of blue polishes.

Blueberry Bombshell is a light pale blue( almost a pale pastel blue) jelly polish with both yellow and green microglitters and hexglitters. This is three thin coats of  Blueberry Bombshell without top coat.

Although the color and glitters look pretty in the bottle, applying the polish was a challenge. The glitters just settle at the bottom of the bottle and brush doesn't pick up these glitters. I had to shake the bottle multiple times and dip the polish brush to pull few glitters. The application is messy as glitters do not spread evenly on the brush. One needs to make efforts to ensure the glitters are not too crowded at one specific spot on the nail.

Overall I am disappointed with this launch from Maybelline. I wish the formula of jellies was better and that the glitters did not settle at the bottom. Also I am eager to know if Maybelline India would launch Clearly Spotted, Bleached Neons range in India. These have made rage globally. I just hope Maybelline India listens to the heart of Indian nail bloggers and launch these in India.
