Scaled Gradient for Nail that technique challenge

Hi friends! How are you all doing? I had a busy weekend; too many things to catch up with.

Last week's theme for 'Nail that technique' challenge was Scaled gradient. Boy this technique gave me hard time. I tried doing it atleast thrice and failed each time. I din't wanna give up and kept looking at SimplyNailogical youtube videos to get a hang of it . Finally I gave a fourth try and I am happy I did it. I still need to work hard on my clean up part. Hope some day I will get to it perfectly.

I used Models own Polish for Tans Flip Flop and Street wear Lady Blue Eyes for the gradient.

                                     

                                     
                                       

 I was not sure which background looked better - white or black. All in all I loved this design and had gals staring my nails at work :) Some of them came and asked how I did these. Check out my previous scaled gradient attempt here.

Have you guys tried this technique before? Did you struggle like I did?
