Biotique - Bio Walnut Scrub ( Product Review)

Hello guys, how are you doing? I was in Mumbai super busy meeting family members and relatives. I did find some time for shopping and visited malls :)
I was at Health n Glow the other day, in search of a daily scrub. While I was scanning through their scrub’s section, I saw Biotique - Bio Walnut Scrub and picked it up. I have used a couple of Biotique products and thought of trying this scrub.

Product Description

Price - Rs.199

Weight - 50gms

Package Usual plastic green bottle like the other Biotique products.

Details - This exfoliating scrub is blended with pure walnut oil, rich in Vitamin A and lecithin, extracts of neem, mint, fenugreek and red sandalwood to purify and polish skin texture. Sweeps away dry lines and leaves skin smooth, soft and spotlessly refreshed. Skin becomes more receptive to the benefits of future treatment.

Skin type- For normal to dry skin

Usage - Massage on wet face and neck with fingertips. Avoid eye area. Rinse with water or damp washcloth. Use daily or as needed.
Here is my take on the product. The scrub is cream based and has brown and black granules. It is less granular as compared to other scrubs. Probably that is one reason why it is especially for normal to dry skin. It doesn’t have a great fragrance. Its fragrance reminded me of Biotique’s hand cream.

As the product claims, it does not leave the skin dry. It leaves the skin nicely moisturized; thanks to its creamy base. Although it has contents like Mint and Red Sandalwood, it doesn’t give a refreshing feel after wash. All in all ok to be used in winters, I would personally hate to have creamy feel in summers/rains.

One major drawback is its packing. Each time I want to use the product, I have to scoop it out with my fingers. I find that very messy and the product ends up under my nail. Biotique should seriously think on its packing and probably have scrubs in tubes.
If any of you have used this product, let me know your views and your take on the product.
