Hi Friends! I am back to blogging after months of break. It feels so good to be back. If you were wondering where I was all these months then let me tell you I was very much around, it was just that I had too many things to do/take care of. I missed you all, hope you guys missed me too :)
The weather here in Pune has become dry and chilly - yes WINTER it is! It is that time of the year when my skin goes dry, hair goes frizzy, dandruff crops in, lips get chapped and hands/heels get cracked. But wait not any more I am well prepared to face the dry winters this year. So here are the products I am currently using to keep my skin/hair moisturized during the winters.
For face, I have been using Jovees Apricot & Almond scrub & Aroma Magic Lavender Face Wash. I use this scrub at least once a week to keep the deep skin away. This is my first purchase from Jovees brand and I am happy with the product. I use Aroma Magic Lavender Face Wash every day, it gives a nice fresh feel and doesn't dry my skin.
My feet require special care coz I tend to develop cracks and they hurt during winters. I do pedicure at home where I try to remove the cracks by scraping and blading technique. To keep the feet nice and soft, I have been using The Body Shop's Peppermint Scrub and Foot Rescue cream and I can tell you hands down that these definitely give good results. The Body Shop Peppermint Intensive Foot Rescue cream works like a charm and helps in healing the cracks.

For lips, I have been using Health & Glow Raspberry Lip Balm and Maybelline Baby Lips. I apply them over my lips a couple of times during the day and specifically before going to bed at night. I also exfoliate my lips and slather them with honey/ghee while in kitchen. These desi tricks always work.
As a moisturizer, I use traditional Nivea creme and Nivea Smooth Milk Body lotion. I always carry Vaseline as it can be used as a cream as well as lip balm and does a good job in winters. My skin absorbs all these products nicely and doesn't leave any oily/sticky feel behind.
For hair, I make it a point to oil my hair at least once a week with coconut oil. I have been using Patanjali's Coconut oil for past few months and I am happy with it. I have switched to the new VLCC Dandruff Care & Control shampoo to keep dandruff away & Garnier Ultra Bends Soy Milk & Almonds Conditioner for conditioning. I do try a few home remedies to keep my hair soft and also get hair spa done at salon once in 1-1.5 months
I take at most care of my hands & nails as I do a lot of nail art. I religiously use Burt's Bees Almond & Milk hand cream few times a day. In fact I apply it to most dry areas of my body like elbows, feet and it does wonders. For the cuticle area, I use Burt's Bees Lemon cuticle cream and Cuticle oil.
