Floral Newspaper print nails

Hey buddies! How are you all doing? Hope you had a lovely weekend.

Last week's theme for 'Nail that technique' challenge was Newspaper print. I was excited for this theme but when I actually attempted to do it, I struggled getting a good newspaper print on my nails. My nail buddies suggested not to use topcoat(matte topcoat can be used) and attempt for newspaper print and it was a success.

I used Revlon Matte and Shiny Emerald Suede as base and did the newspaper print over it. I used floral decals and placed them randomly. Then added top coat to seal the design. I loved this design and received lot of compliments too.  This nail art was inspired by Vintage Newspaper print nails by my nail buddy Setu.

Hi All, today's mani is a Sideways Ruffian nail design I did almost a month back but never shared it. This is inspired by Sonailicious; check out her tutorial here. I used Models own Cerise Shine and crelly polish by Glitzy(shade name unknown) for this look. I wanted to try this look from long time. These are easy to do and look great.

Scaled Gradient for Nail that technique challenge

Hi friends! How are you all doing? I had a busy weekend; too many things to catch up with.

Last week's theme for 'Nail that technique' challenge was Scaled gradient. Boy this technique gave me hard time. I tried doing it atleast thrice and failed each time. I din't wanna give up and kept looking at SimplyNailogical youtube videos to get a hang of it . Finally I gave a fourth try and I am happy I did it. I still need to work hard on my clean up part. Hope some day I will get to it perfectly.

I used Models own Polish for Tans Flip Flop and Street wear Lady Blue Eyes for the gradient.

Distressed Jeans nail art

Hi Friends! This week's theme for 'Nailthattechnique challenge' is Dry brush and I did distressed Jeans nail art inspired by Chelsea queen's nail. Check out her post here

For this design, I used Sally Hansen Insta Dri Brisk Blue as base and using dry brush technique I added strokes with Sinful colors Black on Black, Wet and Wild French Creme and Brisk Blue. Then using a thin brush, I painted small dashed lines using white polish. I did not have studs handy so I left the look this way and added a layer of top coat.

Ikat nail art and Twin nails

Hi Friends!Today's nail art is inspired by Ikat pattern I had seen on google. Also this is a special one as this is my twin nails with my nail art budy Nisha from NailMatinee. Check out her ig page here.

For this design, I started off with pink nail polish as base and then used acrylic paint to make the Ikat pattern. I loved the colors and overall look of this design. What do you guys think?
